How to play
Pick an egg color.
Choose a color on the left. Only colors still on the board can be loaded.
Drag to aim.
A dotted line shows where the egg will go, even when it bounces off a wall. Let go to shoot.
Match three to pop!
Three or more eggs of one color pop, and every pop splashes paint onto the picture.
What kids practice
- Aiming. Judging angles with the dotted line, including shots that bounce off the walls.
- Colors. Matching eggs by color to make groups of three or more.
- Planning. Freeing hanging eggs so a whole bunch falls, and clearing a board in fewer shots for more stars.
Questions
Is Eggsy pop free?
The first world, Dino island, is free with its four pictures. Little Paper Pro opens the other three worlds, 12 pictures in all. It’s an optional purchase through Apple, behind a grown-up check.
How does the picture get painted?
Every popped or fallen egg becomes a drop of paint for the picture beside the board. The first color collected paints the picture’s main friend, so every child’s picture comes out different.
What happens if the board fills up?
If an egg reaches the dashed line, the playground is full and the board starts again, so your child can try a new plan.
