How to play

  1. Pick a place.

Follow the trail on the safari map. Each place waits in gray for your help.

  2. Play its color game.

Hunt, sort, paint, mix, finish a pattern, remember the lights, follow a trail or fit puzzle pieces.

  3. Bring the color back!

Each place you help washes back into color, and its animal friend moves in.

What kids practice

  • Colors. Finding, sorting and matching colors across eight different games.
  • Color mixing. Seeing what two drops make in Mixing lagoon.
  • Patterns. Filling the gaps in patterns like AB and ABC on Pattern bridge.
  • Memory. Watching an order of glowing fireflies and tapping it back in Firefly memory.

Questions

Is Color safari free?

The first visit to each of the eight places is free, so your child can try every game. Little Paper Pro opens the later levels and the Pick a game tab, for playing any game straight away. It’s an optional purchase through Apple, behind a grown-up check.

What if a game is too hard?

Hint helps in small steps: it repeats the goal, shows how, adds a highlight, then offers an easier round. Nothing is timed.

Is there help for children who find colors hard to tell apart?

Yes. Color shapes, a switch in Grown-ups, marks every color with its own shape.
