How to play

  1. Draw a road.

Draw with your crayon across the gaps between the seed and its nest.

  2. Press Roll!

The little cloud lets go, and the seed rolls along your road.

  3. Reach the nest!

Get the seed home. Use less crayon to earn more stars.

What kids practice

  • Planning. Picturing the seed’s path before drawing the road.
  • Cause and effect. Seeing how slopes, springs and gaps change the way the seed rolls.
  • Drawing control. Drawing a road just long enough, since less crayon earns more stars.

Questions

Is Drawbridge trail free?

The first chapter, levels 1 to 10, is free. Little Paper Pro opens the other five chapters, 50 levels in all. It’s an optional purchase through Apple, behind a grown-up check.

How do the stars work?

Any road that gets the seed home earns one star. Two and three stars need less crayon, and a meter shows where each star falls away.

What happens when a run fails?

A card shows why, such as a splash, a tumble or a stopped seed. Trying again keeps the roads, so your child can fix one part and roll again.
